On April 8th, known as Yom HaShoah or Holocaust Remembrance Day, B’nai Jeshurun will be hosting “Remembering the Holocaust Through the Life of Siggi B. Wilzig,” an online event that will be open to Jewish organizations around the world. Joshua M. Greene will have a conversation with renowned psychologist and filmmaker Dr. Eva Fogelman, a pioneer in historical trauma research who works with Holocaust survivors and their descendants.
Ivan Wilzig and The Peaceman Foundation® have teamed up with Congregation B’nai Jeshurun to help individuals navigate the complex system of COVID-19 vaccinations, appointments, and transportation. This effort will allow B’nai Jeshurun to expand its program to all vaccine-eligible individuals within New York City, emphasizing the elderly, Holocaust survivors, and immigrant communities.
